We've known our adoptee, Col Ralph R, for several tours now. He was our emcee and military contact at our two Rock Band events in Iraq and we almost made it into Iraq this year to visit the troops with him in the lead. He's become a good friend of AaSP and we're proud and privileged to support him and the 467th.
At Ali Al Salem Air Base, The group is comprised of four squadrons with over 900 Total Force Airmen assigned throughout the Iraq Joint Operations Area. As the commander, he provides administrative and operational control for Joint Expeditionary Tasked Airmen and Individual Augmentees tactically assigned to U.S. Army, Marine Corps, Joint, and Special Forces units throughout Iraq. The Airmen performing these missions include security forces, civil engineers, lawyers, doctors, intelligence specialists, and logisticians, among others.
