The 51st Signal Battalion (Expeditionary) provides critical communications support for our troops in Iraq. The 51st is the oldest Signal Battalion in the US Army Signal Regiment, continuously serving on active duty since 3 June 1916.
We picked up the 51st to replace the 63rd Expeditionary Signal Bn. It continues our proud support of communications units, having supported the 32d, the 324th, the 63rd and now the 51st.
