We picked up the 1-32 in June 2011. They have been having a rough go in very dangerous conditions dealing with a stubborn and fierce enemy but they are accomplishing great things for the Afghan people and democracy. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers so they will get home safe next year.
The 1-32 has a great history (the 32nd Infantry Regiment was
first organized on 7 August 1916, on the island of Oahu, Hawaii, from the
elements of the 1st and 2nd Infantry Regiments. At its activation, it was known
as "The Queen's Own" Regiment, a title bestowed by the last queen of
Hawaii, Queen Liliuokalani) and we are proud to support them!
