| 81st Brigade Combat Team:
Our Adoptee:
MSG Brian T.
Coming upon the 81st BCT, as it turns out, was the beginning of one of the most interesting series of events (and continues to be) in Adopt-a-Soldier Platoon history. We had learned from an a colleague that a women in the company's Ice Cream business in Green Bay had a brother in Iraq. His name was MSG Brian T. Brian was a member of the Washington Army National Guard and his unit had a very important job to do, guarding the main supply road into Baghdad. Of course, we adopted him and his unit. We sent them many care cartons. But it was the series of events after Brian redeployed (to Kosovo) that became even more interesting. His team's replacement was the 29th BCT of the Hawaiian Army Natl Guard and as you'll see when you read our story of their unit that things got real interesting. We are proud to have supported MSG T. As it now turns out, Brian is back in Iraq and we are once again supporting him and his unit.
