Charlie Co, 1/3 ARB became an adoptee unit of AaSP as of February 2010. They are also part of our Operation Atlas, which supports several aviation units throughout the Middle East.
Charlie Co. is up in the mountains south of Kabul. They are an Apache Company in the proverbial action. We understand they stay fairly busy supporting the ground troop's convoys and numerous other missions. When they are not flying they are performing maintenance on the aircraft to ensure they can provide support 24/7.
Our adoptee, 1SG Mark C., had a chance to meet up with the journalists from 30 Days Through Afghanistan when they were at their FOB. Very cool guys. Also, one of our former adoptees, 1SG Paul W., was on TDY in AFG and visited with Mark. Totally awesome guys!
