| An Amerian Flag from Ground Zero was brought to FOB Salerno by the 404th Civial Affairs BN. The flag has been making its way around Northeast Afghanistan to allow soldiers to get a chance to see the special flag. Thanks CSM F. for sharing this with us. |

He received the rock from Alan Krutchkoff, President of Adopt-a-Soldier Platoon. Krutchkoff and his wife, Mary-Edna, had acquired it in 2002 when they visited Shanksville. |
