Welcome Home Tour for Colonel Ralph Romine
We call him "Big Daddy." He was our Adoptee for four tours. He was emcee at our first I-Roq Rock Band Tournament at Camp Anaconda in 2008, and our second I-Roq Tournament in Baghdad in 2009.
He helped us get into Kuwait this past December and showed us around the bases. It was an unbelievable experience. So when we had the opportunity to go on Fox & Friends on Thursday, 12 January, we asked him to join us and stay for a couple of days so we could show him around. We took him to the Hackensack Pastry Shop to meet Kathleen Salvo; Coffee Associates to meet Bill Callas and taste the great coffee that Bill sent to him; Unilever mail room and warehouse to meet all the guys; have dinner with EOS at Mike's Mezze Notte; be on the show; and through good fortune and timing, a last minute jam session with our buddies at Cookiehead. Finally dinner with Max Viola at Pearl Restaurant. It was a heck of a Tour.
