Administrative Angels for Adopt-a-Soldier Platoon Currently Supporting: 438th AEW, 2-87 IN, and all AaSP units through its work!
|
The Bryan Cave New York City office has taken on several new projects since inception of supporting its original adoptees (3/4 Marines - see below) in January/February of this year.
The new projects and units include supporting the Role 3 MMU hospital in Kandahar, the TF 30th MEDLOG throughout southern and western Afghanistan, the 438th AEW in AFG that is taking care of 1700 Afghan children in two local schools, the 3/7 Marines (replaced the 3/4), RC Docex Herat and -- a very important mission -- becoming Administrative Angels for the Adopt-a-Soldier Platoon.
As Administrative Angels, Bryan Cave sees that AaSP has the pre-printed labels and customs forms so critical to getting the care cartons to our adoptees. They are able to automate these processes and save critical time and energy, which now can be devoted to getting more goodies out to our warriors instead of time spent filling out forms and taping over labels to keep them weatherproof. In only a few short months, Bryan Cave's team has demonstrated its patriotism, generosity and compassion for our brave men and women in harm's way. Thank you Bryan Cave!!!!
(See pictures below from the meeting with AaSP President Alan Krutchkoff at Bryan Cave's offices on May 6, 2010, and also from the latest delivery of at least 30 cartons of supplies to the above-mentioned units.)

The International law firm of Bryan Cave has an office in New York City adopted the 3/4 Marines in AFG and the 3/7 replacements. The team rolled up its sleeves very quickly and within a matter of days collected an enormous amount of goodies for the children. From school supplies to warm winter clothing to kites and soccer balls to NYPD hats (thanks Commissioner Kelly), the Bryan Cave team came through big time! Thanks to their team leader Anne for initiating our connection. Current adoptees include Role III Hospital in Kandahar, RCT-2, 3/7, RC Docex Herat and the 432nd AEW at Bagram AB.
The team enjoyed a telephone call from MSgt Bubba Beason in the 432 from Afghanistan on August 5, 2010. MSgt B is spearheading major support of schools surrounding Bagram AB and Bryan Cave is support MSgt B with school supplies, clothing and toys.
Thanks Bryan Cave. To see the team at work and also some of the great stuff the folks at Bryan Cave collected please see the two slide shows below! They include supplies to be delivered to AaSP on Wednesday, August 18, 2010.
