In 2008, Planet Tool & Engineering joined Adopt-a-Soldier Platoon as a Special Friend and collected 14 very heavy cartons full of goodies for our Navy unit in Kuwait. Our adoptee, LCDR Tom M., commented on the arrival of the shipment: "The packages fell like bombs!" he said.
This year, the folks at Planet Tool outdid themselves! They coupled with the Machine Center, Precision Components, Alro Steel, Didion International, Conveyor Dynamics and Merrick Machinery, all from the St. Louis County/St. Charles, MO area to collect so many nice things for our troops they filled three pallets! Thanks Curt S, Crystal H, Frank F, Joan G, Gary B, David D, Kimberly S and the entire team! God Bless all of you!!! These cartons are going to two Marine units and the new Navy unit in Kuwait (MSRON 5) that replaced LCDR M's unit.
