| At one of the Red Hat Ladies recent fund-raising events, Queen Carmen Rivera (Far R) displayed an American flag flown in Iraq for the Red Hat Ladies by the commander of the B Company "BlackSheep" of the 209th Aviation Support Battalion. The 209th BlackSheep have been deployed out of Iraq and most of the men and women are now back home in Hawaii. The signed flag was a special reminder to the Red Hat Ladies of the appreciation of the BlackSheep for their tremendous commitment to their well-being. |

| Red Hat Ladies are wonderful, concerned and giving women who support charitable agencies and give of their time. In our case, we're very grateful they support Adopt-a-Soldier Platoon. |

Red Hat Ladies of Staten Island Staten Island, NY
Team Leader: Carmen E. Rivera
Carmen and her Red Hat Ladies have been wonderful. They've collected cartons and cartons of personal care products, food and snacks and convenience items for our soldiers, especially our female soldiers and nurses. They've supported the B Co. "BlackSheep" of the 209th ASB, the 324th ITSB and the nurses of the 28th CSH. Carmen herself is truly one of our angels and we are all indebted to her for her support and service to our adoptees.
