Sherwin Williams Paint Company April 2009 Update Arlington, Texas
Team Leader: Vivian Murphy
The great folks at the Sherwin Williams plant in Arlington, TX, joined Adopt-a-Soldier Platoon in 2007 and have taken care of many of our adoptee units since. In 2009 they have picked up the 10th CSH at Tallil to help staff and patients there to have better days.
On March 31, 2009, the team shipped eight cartons of goodies to Chaplain Michael W. at the 10th CSH for patients and staff there. The team continues its great work to support our troops.
In 2007, this team supported the Company B BlackSheep of the 209th ASB -- they sent goodies every few months to keep the BlackSheep happy. Then they took care of the Texas soldiers in the 2d Battalion of the 12th Field Artillery. So we had Texans taking care of Texans! Now that's citizenship! For Xmas 07, the Special Friends at Sherwin Williams sent two packages out to the 2-12th. Not only that but the team offered to help here at home with soldier families in their area. What a team and how gracious and what a nice message to the troops they sent on Veteran's Day!
The Sherwin Williams crew then took care of are two more adoptees! In September 08, these generous folks picked up SPC Kyle H. and PFC Brooke T. in Iraq.
Thanks Vivian and thanks Sherwin Williams Special Friends for your steadfast support!
