We would like to send a special thanks to the parishioners, students, and faculty at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. They kicked off their first year with the Military Outreach Program.
On April 15, they shipped 12 large boxes to the Role 3 MMU. Included was the following: 91 packs for our wounded soldiers including sweats (or casual pants with long sleeve shirt), briefs, white t-shirt (the female packs have a sports bra in lieu of the white t-shirt), socks, flip flops, toiletries, a prayer card, and a thank you card. They included one large box filled with girl scout cookies to hand out to patients and to the hospital staff. There were also 2 large "goodie" boxes that had been included in the shipment as well.
Role 3 MMU has already received their boxes and they are going to try to ship some of the donations to a smaller base in need.
