The Baltimore, MD, employees at the Unilever HPC Plant collected donations in barrels at the Guard House entrance and Main Office or brought gifts directly to Susan's office. The company also sponsored a shopping spree and Susan more than filled two shopping carts.
Plant Manager, Michael Hofmeister, further supported the project by allowing use of company packing materials and postage for the packages. Greg Albertson and Janice Bowman helped Susan sort and pack the donations into 15 boxes (216 pounds) of goodies, which were shipped to a Marine serving in Iraq who is an employee of Unilever's plant in Arkansas.
The program has made the employees feel very good about taking care of one of their own! Thank you Baltimore!
