USA Home Team Fort Worth, TX
Team Leader: Colleen Canion
The USA Home Team has been supporting the troops since March 2003. We learned about them while supporting the same unit - the 28th CSH at Ibn Sina Hospital in Baghdad. In fact, we partnered with USA Home Team to furnish the 28th CSH's exercise room's amenities. The former exercise room had been destroyed and USA Home Team was helping the CSH get the room back to working order. They sent all kinds of boxing and exercise equipment such as punching bags (light and heavy) and medicine balls to help the staff get their room back to shape. AaSP sent exercise mats to cover the floor and complete the room.
These folks from the Dallas/Fort Worth area send countless cartons of goodies to the CSHs. There are about 400 volunteers on the USA Home Team and they currently support the 10th CSH in Baghdad and Tallil, along with AaSP. The USA Home Team gets its fundamental support at American Airlines but includes supporters from all over the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
Colleen Canion is a tireless leader who keeps this wonderful organization moving forward. She can often be found at Dallas/Fort Worth airport with USO folks and other USA Home Team members welcoming American troops home. We are honored to call Colleen and the USA Home Team our Special Friends.

| USA Home Team often meets the troops on their way home through Dallas/Fort Worth Airport to their home station. This picture was taken on 4-17-09 as about 25 USA Home Team supporters greeted one of the military transports passing through.
