The good folks at this Trumbull, CT, real estate firm decided that it was more important to give gifts to our soldiers during the holiday season than to have its traditional Christmas grab bag. They heard about the AaSP Holiday DVD Project and everyone at the agency chipped in. Well, they raised enough money for three extra handicams, which we sent to the 102d Infantry Regiment (after all, they wanted to take care of CT soldiers). When our brave men in Afghanistan made their videos to send home, they knew they have some great Connecticut people looking after them. The 102nd is now safely home in Connecticut.
The William Raveis team also collected stuffed animals, which we recently sent to both B Co. of the 412th Civil Affairs Battalion (Operation Hearts and Minds) and to SSG Settles of the 28th CSH in Baghdad.
